Pari is a curated guide to places in Paris. We respect your privacy and have built Pari to collect as little data as possible.
Almost nothing.Pari does not require an account to use. If you choose to create one, we collect only your email address and a password (which is hashed and never stored in plain text). That's it — no name, no phone number, no marketing tracking. We do not sell, share, or analyze your information for advertising.
Creating an account lets you sync your saved places across your devices. Your email is used solely to sign you in and recover your account if you lose access. You can delete your account, and everything associated with it, at any time from the Account page in the app — no questions asked, no email required.
When you save a place without an account, your bookmark is stored locally on your device and never leaves your phone. When you save a place while signed in, your bookmark is stored on our backend (Supabase) so it can sync to your other devices. We do not share your saved places with anyone.
If you tap “Near me”, your iPhone may show you the standard iOS location permission dialog. Your location is used only on-device to sort places by distance and show you on the map. It is never sent to our servers or shared with anyone.
Pari shows TikTok videos and photos hosted on third-party services (TikTok, Pinterest, and other public sources). When you watch or load these, the third party may receive standard request information such as your IP address, as is typical of any web request. We do not share any additional information with them.
Pari is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
